Marques has focused his professional work on advocacy theatre for the disenfranchised or abused. With Gestic Theatre and Imagination Theatre (Chicago), Marques toured issue-based pieces to urban schools; Imagination Theatre was commissioned by Delta State University as part of their AHOY (Arts Healing Our Youth) program. Marques is currently the Education Director for Chatterbox Audio Theater and the Director of Theater for St. George’s Independent School. He has been a director, designer, and performer at theatres across the Memphis area, and will receive his Master’s Degree in Arts Education in 2012.
