Merlin recently graduated with a Masters degree in Sound Design for Live Theatre from the Univiersity of Missouri at Kansas City. He has designed sound for Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Chatterbox Audio Theater, Unicorn Theatre, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, UMKC, Stages St. Louis, Utah Musical Theatre, and the University of Utah, where he earned his BFA. Other companies he has worked with include Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Starlight Theatre, Alpine Theatre Project, the Marriot Center for Dance and Pioneer Theatre Company.
